Eli House Mission Trip 2017-2021
The Eli House is a faith-based outreach program located in San Luis Rio Colorado Mexico. Our team at Terhune Dental has been fortunate enough to make several trips there to provide dental treatment to both the children and the families of Eli House. Even though dental is our specialty, we took some time away from the clinic to pass out food near the border, attend a Sunday church service and visit with some of the children that we sponsor. What a blessing it is to have this opportunity!
Operation Christmas Child
We donate toothbrushes and toothpaste to Operation Christmas Child every year. We love this program because it allows us to invest in the dental health of children worldwide.
Halloween Candy Buy Back
Operation Gratitude sends care packages to US Troops. We contribute by buying back Halloween candy at $1 per pound. Each child also receives a new toothbrush and a chance to win the grand prize (last year it was a new iPod Nano). We especially love that it keeps candy out of our patients’ mouths!
Battered Women’s Shelter Day
Ladies received dental cleanings & fillings. Also had lunch & received lots of donated goodies to take with them. It was an awesome day!!
